Blog Scene Charts - The Beginning

This is the first in a new series here.  Might come up with a better name for it at some point too.  Anyway I want to get more of an overview of what's going on across the whole spectrum of what we're into, and make sure people aren't missing out on all the good stuff.  So, I approached some of my favourite blogs, and asked everyone what the biggest tune right now is, that no self-respecting fan would be without.  There will be more blogs added over the coming months, but for now check these out - and be sure to click on the links to have yourself a read of all these wicked sites:

Sonic Router: Addison Groove - Footcrab (Swamp 81) - "It’s stupid, putrid and overtly dumb, but its bonafide genius at the same time. Vibing off pure 808 kick drums and cowbells I challenge any producer to come up with a more defining anthem than this using such minimal tools."

Everyday Junglist:  Calibre - Steptoe (Signature) - "A change in style from Calibre as he comes with half time dubwise track thats been slaying dancefloors the length and breadth of the land."

Chrome Kids:  Skitz ft Buggsy - Born Inna System (Dragon Drop) - "Daddy Skitz returns alongside Bristol gully side rhymer Buggsy, with a Reggae / Hip-hop fire starter that should also keep the Grime and Dubstep fraternities happy."

</object>

Baltimore Club: DJ Jonny Blaze - Here We Go (Blazeone) - DJ Jonny Blaze showcases a change of direction in both his music and his wider beliefs:

Going Other Places:  Steve Oh - Work Dat Shit (Soul People) - "The track works effortlessly as a stripped down house jam with profane samples and a tight production."
