I should be posting this anyway just for the quality of that pun, but I'm also gonna post it for the quality of the cumbia. DJ Still Life from Brooklyn has just put together this package of mashups which combine Aaliyah tracks with latin riddims. Great idea and works unsurprisingly well - but the real winner for me has to be track one, 'Try Otra Vez'. Love that swang. Stream it below, or just download it - it's free after all.
