Fact Mag Mix - Jack Sparrow

February 12

You know, I hate looking just like a cheerleader for Fact Mag sometimes, but I have to admit, they get their hands on some awesome mixes.  And so it is today, with this slice of greatness from Bristol's own J.Sparrow.  Rolling deepness, but with energy all the way through, this is livening up my afternoon no end.  You need it!

Dave Angel Podcast

November 4

Just browsing the Reprise agency website and I happened upon their rather tasty podcast series.  This week they drop 2 of these gems on us - one is from the up and coming dubstep head Jack Sparrow, who recently released on Tectonic, but the exciting one for me is this one from techno legend Dave Angel.  I've always been a fan of his - for me, he has been one of the most consistent producers over the last 15 years, always dropping stuff that is funky, full of energy and too chunky to be aligned with the mnml tidal wave that engulfed the 2000's.  This looks like a pretty good example of his sound at the minute - hadn't checked him for a while but I'll be looking out if he swings through Bristol any time soon...

Also, check his website here - http://www.djdaveangel.co.uk/
