Poirier / Taz Buckfaster - Couple of Tings From Other Blogs Wot R Good

First, we have Canadian raggamuffin Poirier, who put up a short but swaggalicious mix on his site - check it here. In what is undoubtedly the most exciting news to ever hit anything anywhere, I can exclusively reveal that there may well be some sort of Poirier / Baobinga musical intersection happening in the not-too-distant. Next, the esteemed and excellent Sonic Router did a wicked mix and interview with Taz Buckfaster. The mix is proper, and show's a definite change up in style, which he goes into in the equally proper interview - sonic router is always good for some in-depth quality shizzle. The first tune of his I really checked was 'Murda Skank' on Ramp (pictured above), which takes wobble ridiculously far whilst still being distinctive and danceable, but since then he seems to be going down a more melodic, even 'ecstatic' route - 'Half Man Half Trout' (which we will be previewing soon on this blog yo, along with some other Rwina stuff) has a gigantic melody zooping over the riddim without descending into Tiesto-step. Well good!
